Fresh off the back of their sold-out national Australian tour, and the news that they have been added to the lineup for the Splendour In The Grass, Dune Rats are pleased to announce the FUCK YEAH LEDGE YEW! regional tour in June/July, which will hit regional towns throughout NSW, VIC, WA, QLD and TAS. Tickets are on sale now. Dunies will be joined on the run by Perth legends Tired Lion and party-happy Rocky band Pandamic.

If that isn’t enough good news for you, today Dunies also dropped the official video for their new single Braindead, from their ARIA #1 album The Kids Will Know It’s Bullshit. The video shows the guys performing in a giant weed field.

“It was epic to head out to the middle of nowhere with the Afends crew and setup a ramp inside a massive weed field. Then just drank beers and had a sick arvo,” said the band. “Braindead started out in our mate Grudge’s shed on the south coast in Madnurah. We jammed it at a few rehearsals then at all the sound-checks on tour with FIDLAR in the USA. That’s where Dunies & Zac started shaping not only that song but the sound of the album. It’s hard for us to say what any track is about because we’ve always written songs that can be taken heaps of different ways, it all comes down to the person listening to it.” – Dune Rats

The video for Braindead is the spiritual successor to the video for the band’s previous single Scott Greenand yes, they do find Scott Green. The Kids Will Know It’s Bullshit is Dune Rats’ second full length studio album and also featured the single Bullshit, which came in at #34 in the 2016 Triple J Hottest 100 list, just behind Scott Green at #33.

This is an 18+ event.
